AC Milan will not sell only 6 players

Only six AC Milan players are considered untouchables and no matter the tempting offers they will not be sold.

AC Milan have only six untouchable players. Six players who, whatever happens, will not leave Milan for now. Not in this summer session. Among the various uncertainties of the moment, in fact, the Rossoneri can still count on some solid foundations regardless of tempting offers that may arrive.

The six players in question are Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Samuel Castillejo, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao. Players that the club has categorically taken off the summer transfer market. In fact, these six will be key players in the new season. Two players for every department.

Theo has been a revelation this season and has become one of the best defenders in Serie A. Hernandez, just like Romagnoli, has numerous admirers across Europe but AC Milan have no intention of letting them leave.

After a turbulent start under Giampaolo, Ismael Bennacer has become a key player under Stefano Pioli. The talented Algerian midfielder orchestrates the play and, if he had a quality partner at the center of the midfield, he could improve much more in the future. Since the departure of Suso, Samu Castillejo is the new regular starter on the right and he has managed to properly replace his compatriot.

Ante Rebic joined AC Milan on loan for the season. His great performances in 2020 have convinced the Rossoneri to make his transfer permanent and that’s exactly what the management will try to do in the summer. Rafael Leao on the other hand has been a disappointment so far. The Portuguese striker has failed to impose himself at San Siro. Nevertheless AC Milan still have faith in him.
